Who We Are
Originally launched in 2014 as an 18-hole AM-AM event, the Trump Invitational has evolved into a significant stage for the metropolitan area's top amateur golfers. The event's roots can be traced back to a longstanding annual charity fundraiser, but today, it stands as an independent competition focused on highlighting emerging talent.
Expanded to 36 holes in 2023, the tournament now allows participants to earn valuable points towards the NJSGA Player of the Year standings.
Securing a win at the Trump Invitational is considered a prestigious milestone in amateur golf and has provided players with valuable exposure and points, some of whom have gone on to turn professional. We invite you to partake in a tournament that consistently presents both challenge and opportunity.
About the Course
Trump National Bedminster boasts 36 holes of championship golf nestled in the heart of Somerset County. With the Tom Fazio-designed, par-72 Old Course, and the Donald J. Trump Signature-designed, par-72 New Course, golfers can opt for a modern or old-school approach.
The Old Course, ranked "Top 100 Courses in the World" and host to the 2017 U.S. Women's Open, is defined by sprawling bunkers and brilliantly contoured greens in a tranquil setting.
The New Course, opening to acclaim in 2008 as one of the “Best New Courses in the Country," exudes an old-school feel with wavy fescue grasses that resemble an English heathland layout.
The Old Course length is 7,580 yards and is 5.3 miles of straight line walking while the New Course length is 7,511 yard and 5.4 miles straight line walking.
Both courses have beautifully manicured bent grass greens and fairways challenging the best golfers in the world. Please click the link below for a virtual hole by hole tour of Trump Bedminster courses.
